Ask:
Have you read any great books about trying to conceive or pregnancy?
Answer:
Spiritual Midwifery and Ina May's Guide to Childbirth both by Ina May Gaskin are interesting reads. I wish I'd have read them BEFORE my first instead of before my fourth!
Answer:
"What to expect when you are expecting" is a popular book and I found it very helpful.
Answer:
I got a great book when TTC it was by an author I think was named Toni Weschler. It was some sort of guide to fertility. I struggle with infertility and I found this book very resourceful.
Answer:
"What to Expect When You are Expecting" and "Conception, Pregnancy and Birth" are both really good books that I read a lot during both of my pregnancies. During my first pregnancy I really liked "Conception, Pregnancy & Birth", it really told me a lot & answered a lot of my questions. This book was also good for my DH who had questions also. "Conception, Pregnancy & Birth" is by Dr. Miriam Stoppard.
Answer:
Taking Charge of your Fertility has been a really good one, I forget who it is by. A really good website is also babyhopes.com which has a lot of the information from the book on it.
Answer:
I've read a TON of pregnancy books and I'll have to look when I get home to get the titles of the ones I like.
I loved Jenny McCarthy's book Belly laughs! It was hilarious and addressed the real life preggo concerns and what she went through. It was a nice change from the same old books. Also I enjoyed the Girlfriends guide to pregnancy. Another perspective on things and was pretty humorous.

This is really funny that you asked this today newlywed, because I had just seen a couple of your other posts about TTC and I was going to pm you with info about this book. It is the same one someone else mentioned, Taking Charge of your Fertility, by Toni Weschler, MPH. I really credit this book and the ovulation tests with helping us conceive our son ( I had very irregular cycles due to hypothyroidism). We have just begun to try for #2 and I am using it again as a "refresher". It says National Bestseller on the cover so there is a very good chance that your library would have it. I wish you babydust!!
