How do you feel about....

Ask:
some of the t-shirts that children are wearing? I am talking about the ones that I call "self-centered". I will give some examples but the wording is not correct. I have seen some saying that if they tell you no, cry and scream until you get it, "I am the Princess", oh, I wish I could think of more. I will go ahead and tell you that I do not allow them. My dd knows not to even ask, however, I don't think she would even want to wear them. We do laugh at some. Some are funny and I like those, but I hate the ones that appear the one wearing them is bragging about themselves.
Answer:

I've always hated them, thankfully my kids never saw the attraction.
Answer:

I would not buy them!

Worse I have seen sweats that say Juicy, Princess and Hot right across the butt. YUK
Answer:

I have not and will not buy them.
Answer:

I was talking to a teacher that teaches at a local high school the other day and she said there was a girl who wore a t-shirt that pictured a Blow Pop sucker over each breast and it said "Go ahead, Lick 'em"!!!! I cannot believe that a girl would wear something like that. Do they not realize what it is saying about them?

NEVER would I allow a shirt like that. Unreal!
Answer:

I guess to me it depends on what the shirt says. I would let my daughters were a shirt that says I am a Princess but I would not let them wear anything that can be construde as sexual of any nature. They are still young. It took me getting used to them were 2 piece bathing suits. I definately do not want them dressing older than they are and it seems that alot of the clothing today is made that way such as really short skirts or short shorts.
Answer:

I know I've seen a lot of t-shirts at Kohl's that fit this description. They have ones that say "You Wish" or ones that simply say "You're stupid ,go away" It is bad!!! The majority of the references on the t-shirts are sexual, and that's just not something I'll want my daughters to be wearing when they reach the juniors section!!!
Answer:

I still buy all my kids clothes at 9 and 12 and they really don't have opinions about it except for colors they don't like. I don't like ANY clothing that has any sayings on it for me, Dh, the kids etc So it isn't something I buy. I also never bought any character type clothing for the kids when they were little...it's just not something I like the look of. We're all different.
Answer:

I suppose you will all dislike me when i say that i bought my 15yr old son a tshirt that says " I put the STUD in Student!".........but you have to know our family and our sense of humor to know that it isn't meant to brag that he's sexually active and a player.(He doesn't even have a girlfriend), it's just him being funny and getting a laugh from his classmates. He even had one teacher laugh about it too,she said she really liked that one!
I would definitely not buy my 11yr old girl anything with sexually suggestive sayings on it,i don't even like those pants with words on the butt.
