My church called this week and asked if I would be interested in taking over the position of Preschool Director/Coordinator. It is only 10 hours a week....at $8.70 an hour. I will only work on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, Wednesday nights..and then will have about an hour a week at home to put together lesson plans for all the preschool classes on Sunday mornings. Seeing as how we are there all those times anyhow..I figured it is sort of a win-win situation. Organization and children/crafts are my spiritual gifts...so why not help the church with a need AND bring in some income for my family?!?!! I feel really good about this. Between what I make there and what I make in babysitting (although over the summer, I only have the little boy one day a week since his mom is a teacher!), I am bringing home about $175 a week. That pays for a LOT of extras!!
