How many clothes do you kids have???

Ask:
I swear mine have to many. I love to buy them and my daughter is the worst. How about you??
Answer:

mine also have too many.. They are the only girl on my side so my mom and sisters go crazy. Plus I love to ebay and Goodwill shop.. So way to many...
Answer:

Way too much! I only buy her clothes from rummage sales, friends, relatives, or clearance, so with those prices, she has alot!
Answer:

They certainly have more than I do....that's not fair ! I don't think they have to many though...not compared to a lot of kids I know. They probably each only have 4 pair of jeans. They have more Ts than that and a couple of sweatshirts but that about it. They are awesome kids and don't ask for a lot (especially when the daughter is 16!). We give then a couple of new school outfits a year and usually a Christmas outfit. If they have outgrown there summer clothes, I usually buy them a couple of pairs of shorts and a few Ts. All in all...that's pretty good.
Answer:

My 4 & 5 year old have a lot of clothes. But, they both wear the same size, so if I were to divide the clothes between them, they.................oh heck, they still have a lot of clothes. My 16 month old, doesnt have too many. All the kids are in need of some more summer clothes.
Answer:

My 4 (almost 5) year old is in need of clothes. He just went through a growth spurt and now all of his pants are high waters! He's also in need of some shorts, but he's got plenty of shorts. My 3 year old also just went through a growth spurt, but I have 2-3 boxes of clothes for her to still grow in to. And my 17 month old is getting all of my oldest's hand me downs, so I just have to go through boxes to "go shopping" for his clothes. DH thinks they have way to many clothes, but in reality, I need to go through their dressers and take out all of the clothes that are too small.

My almost (I will keep saying almost until the 18th!) 2yr old has everything from his older brother and the stuff a friend of mine gave me so he will never need anything. Right now he has about 20+ pairs of shorts and almost as many shirts. Thankfully he is finally in a size 2T so he can where the stuff. I know no 2yr old needs that much stuff but it's all hand-me-downs so it's not like I go out and buy the things for him. My 5yr old is the one I am constantly buying for, a couple pairs of jeans here, shorts and shirts there when I can get them on sale. I'm glad I only have one to buy for though. I am tempted though to get something for my little one when I'm buying for my 5yr old, especially when it has Bob the Builder, Thomas or Curious George on it since he loves those characters. But I do end up resisting and buy just what the older one needs!
Answer:

My (almost) 5 year old decided that he didn't want to wear anything with "baby" characters on it, including Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Elmo, etc... So, that cut out 1/2 of his shirts! He would rather wear "big kid" characters, like Spiderman, Fantastic Four, etc... Ugh!
Answer:

My boys have tons of clothes, in fact they are coming out of my ears. I guess it's time to go through them again. I buy very little, but my MIL works at The Children's Place and sends a box about every 6 weeks or so. My oldest had 57 short sleeve t-shirts till I had to get rid of some so they would fit in the drawer A few went to my younger son, but I gave away almost 30 about 6 weeks ago. My dd also has tons of clothes, she's the only granddaughter my MIL has so she goes a little nuts. My mom is almost as bad as my MIL, but she buys most of their shoes (they have tons, thanks for the mess mom ) plus she likes to fill any holes after our boxes come from the ILs. After I found out my last baby was a girl, I gave away 3 20 gallon storage boxes of clothes to people after having given away 2 lawn bags full of things that weren't in top condition. It's a little insane. Now if DH and I had as many clothes as the kids there would be nowhere to sit or sleep in our house because the closets would be running into the rooms!
Answer:

My daughter isn't even here yet and she has way too much! Family has been buying a lot and a good friend of our who had her baby in Dec has given us a TON of clothes. I am at the point now where I am picking out the ones I really want and donating the rest because there are so many. And she told me just the other day she has 2 more bags full for me. Not small bags either, but large trash bags.

But its nice to not have to worry about buying her a lot of things.
