When is everyone starting a new homeschool (or regular school if you don't HS) year? I plan on going year round, but we were lax these last few months with Jenna being born. So we are officially starting here again when the public school starts after labor day. but after that we will go year round!

We started yesterday. (8/14) I can't believe how sad it made me feel! I'm still trying to sift through "why".
Maybe it's because I can't believe she's 5 and in kindergarden. It has flown. Or maybe because it's the start of independance, she be really reading soon. "Mommy, what's F-O-R-D spell?" She won't have to ask. It might be then end of these lasy summer days that I am mourning. My heart just feels sad.

I understand how you feel, my baby (well she's my oldest) is turning 4 next month and I'm the same way! It's like she's really growning up and now she'll be old enough for everything!

We have been trucking along with Letter of the Week all summer. My kids think it's a game. We'll get into Sound of the Week and Five in a Row sometime mid-late Sept.
