I went to see it this afternoon with Conor (thought it might distract me). I loved the TV series but this was something else!!!
I hated it !! I was looking forward to seeing Colin Farrell but he didnt do it for me and neither did the rest of the film,
I know its just me an others probably loved it but to me it was a waste of ironing time

I know he is a countryman of yours, Anne, but I hate, hate, hate Colin Farrell!! I have tried to like him, but everytime I see him in an interview, his attitude just totally turns me off - even more than Tom Cruise and that is saying a lot!! I so wanted to like Alexander, but somebody trying to play a Macedonian with an Irish accent? Give me a break!

Oh, I TOTALLY agree! Colin Farrell is an a$$. I'd rather sit through a Mission Impossible movie than try to stomach any Colin Farrell movie. Yuck!

I like Collin Farrell till he opens his mouth and with total deliberation puts his foot in it. He is not good PR for our two top private schools here in Dublin (one a sister college of Tadghg).

and Claire Im with you Alexander the Greek in the sort of Irish accents that have even us in a state of unbelief didnt help the films credibility.
Ill give him two things totally in his favour thought. He totally supports his child and the mother of his child and he is a family man back home here.

Alexander was a long and boring movie I thought. However I did like SWAT.
Honestly I haven't seen him in interviews. At least he's not out there telling us all to take our vitamins and we will be ok like Tom Cruise no matter if a doctor has diagnosed you with a mental illness or not.
