Ask:
Help!! My 2 month old is not sleeping during the day. She will fall asleep in my arms and as soon as i lay her down 5 min later she is screaming.I don't remember my son ever doing this. She sleeps great at night. I don't know if she has gass or what. Anyone have any suggestions?
Answer:
is there any difference where you put her to sleep? does she sleep in the same place at night? could it be too hot or too cold? maybe gas, you could prop her a little bit higher and see if that works. or maybe she wants the closeness, you could try to swaddle her.
good Luck
Answer:
Maybe you could put her in her car seat or swing or bouncy seat. We had to do that with my dd. She does great now - she's almost 9 mo.

I have the same problem with my 3 1/2 month old- I also know I had the same problem with my other 3 kids from time to time.
I think it is because they are slightly elevated in our arms and then we lay them flat- it I think is because of gas/reflux so it bothers them when they are laid down.
SO what I do it put him down for naps in his bouncy seat or I prop his head up when I put him in his bed. It seems to work- he also sleeps well at night so go figure
Good luck and I always say this stage will pass
Answer:
Yes She sleeps in the same room. I have tried everything from swaddeling to no blanket.I have even thouhgt about switching her to formula if she is having a lot of gas with my breast milk.
Answer:
Will she sleep in her crib at night? I put my 2 mos old (now 7 mos old) in her crib on her belly. I know they say not to, but she too would fall asleep on my chest and I thought that was the only comfortable way for her and it worked! Someone also told me to put down a heating pad in the crib to warm it up for her so it wasn't a cold shock from you to the cribsheet. hth! good luck!

I breast fed and like I said have the same problem- not sure formula will give you better results. If you think it is you- are you drinking milk or chocolate- this seemed to always be a problem with gas and BFing my boys. HTH

I do eat some chocolate but not much and I don't drink more then a half glass of milk a day. I have cut out almost all veggie and some fruit also to see if that helps. She is still having gas. I am not sure what to do. I go to the DR tomorrow I am going to see what he has to say also.

Thought of something else- what about using the baby gas releif medicine? I use that whenever he seems fussy and that really seems to work for him- it also always put him to sleep.
Good luck and again this too shall pass

Is you baby sleeping any better yet? I have a 3 1/2 month old, and had a few ideas for you, but I see this was a few weeks ago... Good luck!
