Ask:
What made your heart happy this weekend?
Watching my boys run through the sprinkler & squeal with such pure joy!
Answer:
We went downtown yesterday and drove by the Krispy Creme and the HOT sign was on!! So of course we stopped (you just HAVE to stop when the hot sign is on!) and the boys loved watching the doughtnuts go through the creation process while eating a doughnut. One of my DS said "this is better than watching it on Unwrapped!" (the food network show) and I agreeed as I reached for my 2nd doughnut....

Answer:
Watching my DD's soccer team play in their soccer tournament. I was so proud of them. They came in 3rd out of 20 teams.
Answer:
My beautiful, happy children. I'm jealous of the posting from the Krispy Cremer. All of ours here in the Phoenix area recently closed their doors - the franchisee went belly up, leaving his employees (and US doughnut lovers) in the lurch. I had promised my son we would go there last week and had to break that promise. No word on reopening until the businesses are sold.

It was good.
Answer:
It was DS#2 b-day on friday (turned 3), and I had a small b-day pool party for him on Saturday, with about 9 kids. It was 4 of my friends and their kids. No daddies. And just watching him blowing his candles made me smile and get a little teary eyed ofcourse since he'll be starting pre-school in a week.
