My favorites were Paris, Mandeesa and Chris. It was soooooooooo much fun. Taylor walked right by us and my friend Michelle grabbed his hand. She about fainted....hahahahahaha. I was too busy trying to get a picture of him with my cell phone. It was one big blurry picture of gray hair. Haha!!!!
I wasn't impressed with Elliot or Kelly Pickler. He seemed out of it and she seemed like she didn't want to be there. Kathrine did a good job too. Oh and i have to say i like Bucky!! I know most don't but i do!

Paris just seemed to have a ton of fun and energy!!! Unlike say Kelly who didn't even seem very happy.
I think i like Bucky because he reminds me of a high school friend of mine who died. I liked the songs he sang last night too.

I liked Bucky on the show its just the night I saw him he seemed to mumble his songs and conversation with the audience. He just didnt seem confident.

My Detroit concert was a lot of fun, but Mandisa did not perform that night, which disappointed me as I thought she got voted off too soon. For me, the biggest disappointments were Kellie & Paris. Kellie sounded awful in the duet w/ Bucky (who did better than I expected him to). Paris has a huge amount of energy but I felt like she spent too much time running all over the place & dancing rather than singing. I do not like Katherine one bit & she was not very good. I think her voice just wasn't quite back yet - I hear she's doing better in the last 10 days or so voice-wise. I agree she has a lovely voice but it just wasn't there that night. I liked Chris & Elliott just fine, too.
Taylor was absolutely fantastic. I could not get near him. They did not come to the busses after the show. They left right away for Indiana so Taylor did not come to play w/ his old band after the show. His band was fabulous - I met all of them, and I was even briefly shown on the local news when they covered Taylor's band coming to Detroit (altho I didn't see it). I got the autographs of Tay's band & the ones who played on his CD signed that too. They told me that Taylor has been taking very good care of them.

Jodie, My really good friend was at the concert last night in Sacramento too! She is a HUGE American Idol fan & talked me into going to the very first season's concert 4 years ago. She was pregnant w/ twins at the time and last night she, her dh and their 3 1/2 twin daughters went, along w/ her mom. Her dd's LOVED the tv show and were thrilled to be at the concert. I was worried they wouldn't do well there and wasn't sure she should be bringing them so young, but they had a blast and I've seen pictures to prove it. She has some great pictures of Taylor and Chris and Katherine. She said she was not impressed w/ Kelly at all that she was really off last night.
So, she had a great time too! Funny you were both there last night!

There were soooooo many young children there last night. There were even some pretty old people too. I swear one woman i saw had to be in her 80s!!!!!! Didn't matter the age it seemed everyone had a great time.
