I wanted to share...about a challenge/experiment

Ask:
that two internet friends and I are doing....we are eating what we have...for the month of Sept we are limiting our spending to only 20.00 per week for my family of four, 25.00 for the family of five, and 30.00 for the family of 6....that 20.00 per week is for fresh fruit, bread, milk, and great bargains to add to our pantries or freezers...
I am blogging about this experiment...I have posted a list of everything (with the exception of detailing all my spices and left overs) on my blog, I will also be posting how I spend my 20.00 each week on my blog...if you would like to follow this experiment, check out my blog..

I hope that you all come and see and give any tips and hints you can think of...

Wow what a great idea and a great way to save money, I dont know if I could make it the whole month with what we have here, my pantry isnt that well stocked but it would be neat to see if I could. I think I might try and do this. I will go through what I have here and see if its even an option but it sure would help because things are very very tight this month. Thanks for the great idea and let us know how it goes.
Answer:

Can't wait to see how it goes. Good luck with that!

I checked out your blog. It is interesting. Thanks for sharing with us. Seeing how other people use what they have helps give me new ideas for things to do with what I have on hand.
Answer:

That is a great challenge. I will be keeping it in mind at the grocery store...I will see how I do!
Answer:

You have inspired me!!! I'm going to do the same!! One of my challenges will be school lunches. I'll have to really be creative and maybe get my ds involved and that will help smooth over not having raviolli and lunchables.
