I had my glucose test and am impatiently waiting the results. I am still measuring 4-5 weeks over if I still am at my next appointment on October 17th then they are going to request I go for a US to check for extra fluid.
Wasn't hassled about my weight today so that was nice. She did say the baby is head down which I could have guessed I have felt feet digging in my ribs for quite some time. LOL.
I can't believe only 12 weeks to go and so much to get done. I think I am going into super panic mode. I also am having trouble sleeping so I have been going to be early becasue I never know what time I will wake up and I can't go back to sleep.

I measured like that with my youngest son. They did an ultrasound at 35 weeks and found that I had an unusual amount of amniotic fluid. They had thought the baby was super big, but at that point, he was only 6 3/4 lbs. on the ultrasound measurements. They were a little worried that his lungs might not be right because sometimes when something else (like the amnio fluid) is high, the lungs take "second place" to developing. I ended up going into labor 3 days after the ultrasound, and he was born at 7 lbs. .09 oz.....and was COMPLETELY healthy! He was covered with hair in odd places, which they said was normal for a pre-term baby, and he also had that startle reaction really bad...which again, they said was normal because he had nerve endings that were still connecting that full-termers already have. Just make sure you are ready extra early in case you have yours a bit early, too!!

wow i can't believe you only have 12 weeks left...goes by fast doesn't it!! glad things look good i would not worry about the measuring ahead my dr told me (i measure on average 3 weeks ahead at each appt.) that some woman just measure bigger and also with subsequent pregnancies. according to my last ultrasound my girl is alittle over 5lbs and i have gained no weight during my pregnancy so i would not worry i'm sure it is all normal...let us know hope your gluclose comes out good.!!! don't panic take it all slow baby won't know if everything is not done!!!
