I was pleased, I rooted for Lukas the whole show. Glad he won, but I would love to see Dihlana put out a CD. I would buy it. Anyone going to go see them in concert?

Totally disappointed. I dont think he's the right fit for the band. Personally I didnt think anyone that was on the show was a good fit - Dilanna would have been the closest in my opinion. Lukas I just dont like - dont like his voice, his look or the way he jumps around on stage. A friend of mine has tickets for the concert - so she'll let me know how it was.

I was disappointed, but after I saw the Survivor commercial featuring his song for the promo....I wasn't surprised...I don't think that was a coincidence they used his song...I think the winner was already picked (before last night). Lukas reminds me of Mick Jaggar...just the moves (the strut in particular).

well....we weren't surprised in this house, my 11 year old DD picked Lucas to win the first night....based soley on his look. I really thouhgt that the band would pick Delana, she seemed to just ft the band better. Lucas "Head Spin" song bugs the heck out of me....why,why, whhhhhy....! Ugh, why are you sing this mess of a song. I just hope it doesn't become a supernova song.
So...two "Rock Star" shows and two Canadian winners, Lucas from Ontario and last time JD from Nova Scotia, what's up....where is the talent form the USA???
My all time favorite is still Marty from the INXS show....hmmm, wonder what he's doing!!!

I was sooooooooooooooo shocked to see Lucas win last night. He was my least favorite of the entire show. I'm not sure who will be going to the concerts. If it had been Delana it would have been entertaining. Lucas does nothing for dh or me!!

to me lucas looks like a spaz when he is jittering around on stage. i don't like him one bit. you can't understand a word he says. i think dihlana would have been better, but i personally didn't think this show was half as good as rockstar inxs. that was a much better one. i like jd he kicks a$$.

Suprrised here MY dh said at that very moment well I guess I am not going to be buying any of their albums now. I did not like Lukas at all. Like someone else said he just jitters around stage. My dh said he was creepy and spastic. I don't think he will last.

I was not surprised since early on my impatient dh found a website where they talked about Supernova already having picked Lukas. I guess Dave Navarro wrote on it later to say it was not true, but I think it was a leak from Gilby's camp or something. Turned out they were right.
Personally, I don't care for any of main three Supernova members so I won't go see them in concert. No big deal. I do want many of the rockstars to do well including: Storm (my FAVORITE BY FAR!), Toby, Ryan and Magni. They were all great, but you knew they would never win.
It wasn't like INXS where I was totally emotionally vested in it. I was sooo happy when JD won that! He is perfect for them. I think if Toby had been in that round, he would have been awesome for INXS, too. It would have been sort of nice to see an Australian in front of them again, too.

Anyone notice that at the end of the show when Lukas was singing a second song with supernova that Magni came out on stage to play guitar? wonder if they will keep him around to play guitar for them or maybe to help him make an album.
