CSI Vegas...WOW

Ask:
I can already see this season is going to be good. Start anything off with John Mayer and you have my vote...

It's To Be Continued until next week so this should be great. I am totally excited.... I guess you can tell I don't get out much
Answer:

Hmmm... well, I'll probably get bashed for what I'm about to say, but I didn't care for the season premier. I found the storylines on CSI Original Flavor last year to be boring, and I see they're starting off this year with a yawn. From the scenes I've seen from part 2, it looks more interesting than part 1. I certainly hope next week's episode is better because I was nodding off until Catherine woke up in the hotel room. If I'd known that the final 10 minutes of last night's show was going to be the only good part, I would have done something else for 50 minutes. At least Nick's hair isn't as crappy looking as it was last year.

Believe me, I HATE what I just said about this show. I've been an avid CSI watcher from day one. Original Flavor is really going to have to do something to keep my interest. CSI NY (Yankeefied) is my favorite one now. (For those who only watched the first season and hated it, watch it again -- it's a million times better than when it first started. They've done away with the dungeon look.) And CSI Miami (Southern Fried) is always funny. Caruso's acting is very amusing, plus I like counting how many times per episode he puts his hands on his hips and plays with his sunglasses.
Answer:

UGH I totally missed it!
Answer:

I thought the last 10 minutes were what made it a true season premiere! I really loved it. I'm so glad about Nick's hair being somewhat normal and Grissom losing the beard. I like the way they are playing the romance between Grossom and Sarah very cool and hush hush. It makes it more interesting IMO. I can't wait to find out what the heck is going on with Catherine next week!

Oh My HOW RIGHT YOU ARE! He is hotter than a Sunday afternoon in the swamps of Louisiana, but the hair killed it last year. He looked like he should be investigating the dead rat on his head! The last of the show was the best and I am super curious about it. I think they made it sound like there was going to be more to the whole Grissom/Sara thing on the first show too and excpet for a few glances at each other I was horribly disappointed. Still faithful to the show for now though
Answer:

I have to agree w/ Starlite. Both DH and I thought the premier was weak. I thought the first two storylines were a little boring. Then there was that dancing scene--it just seemed to come out of no where followed by the introduction of two completely new story lines that never connected back to the earlier ones. I do think the next episode has the potential to be quite interesting.

Im wondering how Catherine ended up in the hotel room and how her drink got tampered with. Nick should have at least seen her face as he left with some floozie, you can usually tell when someone isnt feeling good, he should have at least went up to her and said bye.

I was telling my bf why doesnt she leave the hotel room and why is she showering?? If that were me Id try to get the heck outta there in case that person comes back!!
But she did show some good tips on what you can do if you end up in a situation like she did, such as clipping your nails, insertion of a tampon and saving it.

Oh and about Nick, he needs to grow his hair out some. I dont like the buzzed look.

I was thinking the same thing, then I remembered that she's technically a cop. Perhaps she was staying and hoping he would come back so she could arrest him/shoot him/or at least ID him.

Yes, those are good tips. However, if I found myself in the same situation, I probably wouldn't be mentally together enough to remember to do all those things.

I thought it was good. I hope they keep Grissom and Sarah's "affair" subtle. I really enjoy Grissom's character, private and mysterious, to show him in and out of bed with Sarah would spoil it for me. As for Catharine, I wish they would write better situations for her. I hate this one they put her in.

I think she played it well... like a real life thing. Because cop aside she was still a violated woman.
As for Nick not checking on her... I thought about that too. What kind of man .. LAW ENFORCEMENT man leaves an attractive woman behind... MEN!
