Is Toys R Us the same thing as Babies R Us? I was just wondering because I have a coupon book for Babies R Us. But the store is an hour away, however we do have a Toys R Us. I was looking at the diapers that are 2 value boxes for $29.99. I have never tried them and wanted to know if anyone had. How many are in a box? Do they work well?

BRU is everything for under 1yrs olds. plus maternity clothes and nursery furniture. TRU is mre the toys and bigger kids. they do have a small section in TRU for babies but not nearly as wide a variety as in BRU.
I have used the BRU diapers and not had any problem with them, they are like the Traget/CVS brand. I dont rememebr the sizes and prices. sorry.

They are basically the same company, run on different books. They take each other's coupons for the most part. Haven't tried their brand of diapers. You can also buy online and use the coupons.

I am very pleased with the Rus diapers. When they are on sale for 2/$29 they are the best value I have found. You don't need a coupon for the Rus diapers, so I'm not sure if ToysRus is selling them for that also. I would call and ask if they would match. Luckily, my last batch just ran out, so I only had to buy a small package to get me through till this sale.

You can use the coupons between the stores and on-line. Slowely over the next couple of years they are going to phase out TRU and all become BRU stores. Apparently the toy market is fierce and the baby market makes a lot more for them.

I don't know what the policy is now, but when I worked for TRU in the late '90's we would take BRU coupons but it was generally discouraged. I'm pretty sure that BRU does NOT take TRU coupons though. Like Cheesecake Lady said, I have also heard that the TRU stores are going to eventually be phased out.
