It has been more than ten years. DD is 17...and she got this when she was THREE. We have pictures of it!! I also have the original artist drawing for the vhs tape. Does anyone remember that? The artist was fired after someone realized that one of the peaks on the castle was actually a PENIS!!! Yep, it was, too!!! I had never seen it before I saw the news on it, but there is no doubt that person did it on purpose!!! I told dh one day that will be worth money!!

I am so excited. We borrowed my Mom's copy on VHS, and yes it is the old copy with the picture blessed_with_6 mentioned. I am glad to finally get our own copy on DVD and give my Mom back her copy. My dd loves it. I am still trying to decide if I should give it to her or wait for Christmas. I am terrible about that. I buy stuff in Oct and Nov and don't save it for Christmas. On the same note, Curious George comes out next week.

I thought it was Cinderella that had that castle picture on it. I remember looking for the castle on my Cinderella movie when I heard that the guy was fired for his creativity. My Little Mermaid movie doesn't have a castle since she is a mermaid. It has her under water with the fish. I looked it up on the internet, and it does show something on the Little Mermaid movie. I don't have that one.

I have the vhs, too! I collected almost all the disney animations on vhs, then they started coming out of dvd. Some of them I have on both now....Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Bambi...and my kids watch my collection all the time. I'm so glad that I started collecting when I was a teen.
