Does anyone know how you can get a one day pass or something to BJs w/o paying the 15% upcharge? I had a 3 mo temp membership that came w/ all the regular perks, but that has expired. I have some good diaper coupons I'd like to use there because you can use a coupon for each package of diapers in the box. I could save $10 on diapers.

I remember getting a pass in the mail at one point but it was fo cosco. And you had to pay a little more for the items. But I would suggest calling them and see about getting a pass. If you lived closer I'd take you with me!

I AM SO GLAD I called. They have a special going on right now--you can sign up for $30, get a second card free, and if you cancel by December you get your money back! Yea!! I think I'll do that. For the most part it doesn't seem worth the money to keep the membership. There's only three of us! So I'll just use this time to stock up again!

I think its worth paying the membership fee. Maybe you cna find a friend that will going on it with you. Then you could split things you buy and save more.

Part of my concern is that if I get the membership I'll end up buying more stuff than I need. I did pretty good with the temp membership I had earlier this year. At least BJs really isn't on my way any where so I won't just stop in.

I dont think they allow none family members share an account. What I did was get the membership and my friend paid me for half the fee, then we go together and I pay for it all and she pays me back. If we buy a pack of something that has like 4 or 6 boxs in it we split it and the cost. The down side is that she cant go without me.

Oh! I see. It would be nice to split packs of big stuff. I did take a friend once. I checked out and then I scanned my card again and she checked out her stuff and paid with her credit card. I may have to ask her if she'd be interested.
