Ask:
The ABSOLUTE WORST movie I have EVER seen in my ENTIRE life. The movie starts off slow and confusing, doesn't really match Elizabeth Short's REAL story and is entirely too long. It also has some of the FILTHIEST scenes in it...It was the biggest waste of $7.75!!
For those who don't know, it's "supposed" to be about the infamous unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, an aspiring actress who never made it in the business and was murdered in a brutal and gruesome way.
Answer:
Thanks for the warning. You must have felt really strongly to post, so I'll avoid it. I hate gruesome movies.
Answer:
Well I wanted to see this until I read your post!!!
I really wanted to know more about her life and not some fillers... Ya know! So I wont' be seeing this one
Answer:
Oh No, I really wanted to see this...guess you just saved us from spending extra $$$...thank you! I guess I'll rent it on Pay Per View in a few months instead.
Answer:
Thanks for the warning!
Of course, it will probably get nominated for a ton of Academy Awards. The Academy seems to love weird, boring crap like this.
Answer:
The movie is NOTHING BUT fillers...the ONLY real points shown are that she was an aspiring actress and that she was cut in half and from ear to ear.
The movie portrays her as a lesbian...never brought up, much less proven in the case.
The movie shows her in p0rnographic/"snuff" films...no film reels were ever discovered to prove that she did either of those things.
The movie depicts her as a "prostitute" of sorts...while she was sort of a "drifter", she was never caught prostituting. Furthermore, she had a genital defect that wouldn't allow her to have regular intercourse, so she wouldn't really have made a very good prostitute, huh?
For real...it was a joke. There's barely any truth to the movie and it truly was horrible. There should have been a warning posted on the movie poster, previews, etc. that the movie was derived from the idea of the Black Dahlia, but that it was purely fictional. You do get that warning...at the END of the stupid movie.
Answer:
Ah, man! I wanted to see that movie too. WHY do they do that to a movie that you think is going to be so good?!
Answer:
I wanted to see it, too. Bummer, but thanks for the heads-up!
Answer:
Funny how the tv advertisements make it look like a good movie....
Answer:
I had it in my Netflix list, but I think I may take it out. Thanks for the warning.
