Baby Diva Update

Ask:
Remember I asked you for help the other day for baby Diva's stuffy nose? First of all, thank you for all the suggestions. I actually printed the pages and took them with me when I bought out the drugstore. Here's a no-fun update.

She had a tough night, coughing thru the night, and trying to nurse, but not really able to. She woke up around 6am and couldn't breathe well, so I decided to get her up to help her breathing. Poor thing was actually wheezing. Not good for a 13 month old. Called the Dr. around 8am and they said they could get me in at 8:50. Perfect. She was in good spirits at the Dr. office. Poor little thing, sure enough, has bronchitis and sinusitis. Yep. Third round of antibiotics in a year. Different ones each time. And she's breastfed! It's because ds has been sniffly and bringing home first grade germs. The doctor warned me tonight would be even worse, but tomorrow better. Sure enough, she's been crabby and crying all night. PLUS, her little incisors have poked through - just teeny tiny peaks, which means ouch!!

And, I was right. Dr. poo-poohed all the meds I bought. He said if it were his kids, he would just do the steam vaporizer and the saline drops and bulb, even if it meant suctioning every hour. Antibios should be making her feel better tomorrow. He wants me to watch ds for infection signs, though.

I am sooooo glad that my mommy's intuition told me to take her to the doctor's right away and not wait it out, which is what dh usually wants me to do. Poor thing would be suffering even more for so much longer. She's getting better even now. Hooray!
Answer:

I'm so sorry for her, glad she's getting better though...
Answer:

Oh bless her little heart. And to have her teeth coming through doesn't help her disposition either! Hope she gets to feeling better soon!
Answer:

I hope she starts to feel well so you all can get a good nights sleep. I remember those days all too well!
Answer:

Awe, so sorry she's feeling this way. I hope both of you can get some good nights or day's rest for that matter.
