Ask:
What does everyone use for stain remover on really tough stains. Is it possible to get stains out after they have already been washed and dried? What do you use for formula, grease, chocolate, and everything else? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Answer:
Blue Dawn Dishsoap. That's pretty much what I use on everything. Works esp well on grease, even grease spots that have gone thru the dryer. Works well for me on grease, blood, food stains...for stains like dirt and grass, I soak in rubbing alcohol for at least 30 minutes and then launder as usual.
Answer:
There's a product called GOOP - it comes in a small white container usually in the automotive department or a heavy duty cleaner section with the stuff that mechanics use to wash their hands...it's a white jelly substance...just rub a little bit on the spot and it gets anything out...I've used it for years and won't try anything else. It's very safe for anyone

I was actually gonna ask this same question earlier today. I bought a coat on ebay & the cuffs are dingy. I washed it but they didn't come clean.
Answer:
I use hydrogen peroxide on everything now. It almost always works..just let it sit in it for a while before rewashing. I also like Dawn for greasy stains. DD popped a bath bead, full of scented oil, on her overalls yesterday. Dawn got most all of it out..and we are going to do it a second time to hope for the rest!!
Answer:
Really? Hyrdogen Peroxide, I've never heard of using that. Thanks I'll have to give that a try.

I've always used a little dawn in my laundry. A couple of drops will do wonders, and on a specific stain, I just dab a little dawn right on the spot immediately, and it comes off in the wash.
