I am amazed at all of the convenience items available today to supposedly save time, but that waste money big time. Those little soup-at-hand thingies crack me up. Is it that hard to pour soup into a bowl? Or if you really, absolutely must drive while eating soup, but it in a mug. They are over twice what a can of soup costs.
What's the deal with disposable wash clothes for babies? I got a bunch in the mail as samples so I decided to try one yesterday. It didn't even smell good. Are wash clothes that big of a deal to wash? Maybe I just don't get it...
It seems like you can buy just about anything in a disposable version today. What are your pet-peeves when it comes to unnecessary items, or money wasters?

I think its a waste for toy companies to use so many twist ties to tie in their products, even when they are secure in the package with plastic, they decide they need to strap the thing down.

I agree!!! Those stupid things plain out STINK! I don't like them at all and they don't last for anytime.
Something else I personally feel like is a waste is thr Diaper Genie. Whynot just bag it up in a grocery bag and take it out? I don't tend to leave poopy diapers in the kids room anyway, and that gadget won't change my mine. IMO

OMG. Heck Yeah. I bought a box a month ago, because I had a coupon and it was on sale, but there are ONLY 4 of them in a box, and it tastes just like a PB&J sandwich, and as I sat there eating it, I was like now who would pay $4.00 for 4 of these tiny sandwiches.

I'm right there with you too. The last thing I want is 4-day old turds and urine marinating in a bin in my kids' room, regardless of whether or not anyone can smell it. Someone's gotta open it and get rid of them at some point, and that person would be me. No thanks! I never had to smell the same dump twice
Right on to whoever mentioned the hotdogs already in their buns. It takes 30 seconds to cook 1 dog in the microwave. And what? 20 seconds to open the bag of buns and plop the dog in one... Then even less time if you MUST have them immediately and premake them.
I've seen already baked potatoes sold individually wrapped. That one made me laugh.
How about the containers with raviolis and macaronis that you can microwave in the container? Both the can and the containers have a peel off top, yet you get twice as much in a can. Is it so hard to whip out a bowl or tupperware? Apparently, because they're popular.
