We need to replace our sectional couch and we are weighing our options. What do like better - sectional or seperate couch and loveseat? Why?

Traditional couch and love seat only because there are more options for rearranging the room or even taking a piece out if necessary. If you have a sectional you are limited in the way you can redesign your room.

We got rid of our sectional last winter and bought a couch and loveseat. I MUCH prefer the couch and loveseat. I'll never have another sectional.

Im the odd one here, I like my sectional. Its in a curve shape. Its in the corner of our living room. Its nice to lay one and my bf and I can lay on each side and still be close enough (face to face) to talk, hold hand and stuff. Its just the 3 of us so this couch is fine.

I always thought I wanted a sectional...even went shopping for one, but the more I look at our family room the more I think a couch/love seat combo might work best!!!

I prefer the couch /love seat combo. We've had both and while I loved the dsectional, it was perfect for that house and our TV room...Here the living room is so much bigger, there's no way I could get it to look right. I have more freedom with the couch and love seat.

I prefer 2 couches, you can arrange like a sectional, across from each other, or later move one to another room if needed. Love seats are too small and can make a room look out of alignment if it's a large room with a couch.
