Ask:
I dunno. It didn't do that much for me. The previews for NEXT week look great. I didn't like that they didn't have ANY of the other characters on. I mean, if I can't get 2 minutes of some Sayid eye candy, then what's the point?
Answer:
I taped the premiere last night. I can't watch it until I'm done watching the last two episodes of S2 on DVD. I should be able to finish this week and watch in 'real time' next week - finally! So, was it only Jack, Kate and Sawyer on the first episode? I love all the other characters too.
Answer:
It was a bit of a let down but at the same time they built up so much anticipation for next week and for the rest of the season ~ kinda like what they did with the first season's finale. I like that ... I Like being left hanging. I think we viewers build up so much aniticipation that it wouldn't matter what they would do, it just wouldn't be enough!! We've been left hanging all this time, so our anticipation builds and builds and builds until we finally see the premiere and it is NEVER what we anticipate for it to be! In fact, I am not sure what I would have wanted......but I do agree I would have liked to have seen the other characters too!
Answer:
I too missed all of the other characters...but I felt last nights show was more about the "others" and what their plan is - although they didn't tell us that much about it. But I do feel it was based on wrapping them into the storyline a little bit more.
I liked the show last night - I felt it was a typical "Lost" show...they never finish a thought with any of their shows and always leave us with questions...if they didn't do that - I don't think I would be watching. But next week looks good and we get back to all the other characters and find out what they have been up too...it should be interesting!
Answer:
I missed the first few minutes of the show, but the part I saw I thought was pretty much a snoozer. As a matter of fact I turned to my dh at one point and said "This is pretty boring isn't it?" I think the thing that made this show, and desperate housewives for that matter, interesting the first year was how quirky and unique they were. I think the problem though is that sometimes quirky & unique is hard to maintain once you've seen it for several years, and quickly becomes wierd and boring. But I'll still be tuning in anyway.
Answer:
It was unsatisfying to me, after all these months without it. I expected too much I guess.
Answer:
I wasn't disappointed at all. I loved that we got to see the others in action. What was up with the village? And was I the only one who saw the similarities to the planet of the apes and Sawyer escape? Also, Henry Gale "Ben" scared the snot out of me!! He just oozes crazy!!
Answer:
sshallenbu - my husband made the Planet of the Apes connection too.
I get the feeling that "Ben" is the leader, but he's not liked or something.
Answer:
Loved it a typical lost show! I am still lost as usual.
Answer:
yeah, I wasn't let down either. I mean last premire was about desmond. And last season had a lot to do with people in the tail of the plane. This season is obviously going to center around the others (and lets face it there's a lot of story that could go with that).
I didn't really care much about Jack's backstory though... That was the only snoozer part to me. TBH I don't care much for Jack or Lock - I wish they'd both die off (lock especially, I hate that guy!!)
