CSI last night -- hmmm...

Ask:
Were my dh and I the only ones SCREAMING at the television last night for Greg to back up the truck?

That's all he had to do to get out of that situation, but no, he just sits there with a deer-in-the-headlights look when that guy with the freaky contact-lens eyes comes up to the front of the truck with the rock/brick/whatever it was. Then he runs over the guy. Seriously, is that a common police procedure? The gang breaks the window and yanks him out of the truck. Why wasn't Greg wearing his seatbelt? If he'd had that on, it would have been harder to get him out of the truck. Why didn't he draw his gun at some point during this encounter? Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. Is there going to be an investigation about Greg's poor actions? Oh, probably not. If he's that bad at being a CSI, he needs to go back to the lab. Actually, I liked him better in the lab.

And Nick, Mr. Perpetual Bad Hair Day, punching out a bystander and NOT getting into trouble? What's up with that? That's called ASSAULT and he could get into a lot of trouble over that, especially since there were a lot of witnesses around.

We got treated to K-Fed last night. I forgot he was going to be on. Oh joy <sarcasm>.

This show is not what it used to be. I know it's just television and cases really aren't solved without a wardrobe change, but it used to make you think. You never knew who did it until the very end. When I saw K-Fed I thought "Oh, he's probably Pig." I was right.

Am I overanalyzing this show too much? Should I just mindlessly sit back and enjoy the pretty lights of the Las Vegas strip?
Answer:

I watched CSI last night, it wasnt the same as you said - mine was a different story.
It starts at 9 (CA time) so I thought I was watching the new show. hmmmm...

Darn I wanted to see Kevin be the victim.

I watch the show the same way you analyze it. Its supposed to make you think.
Answer:

We were yelling too. I couldn't believe that Greg just sat there and let himself getting pulled out of the truck. They couldn't have gotten him out of the truck any faster if he had helped!! I felt sick though when they were beating him. I just adore him.
Answer:

Well I love Greg, but even I was yelling at him. He looked so scared before he turned his suv towards them, like he didn't really want to. then I can't believe he didn't reverse and go over him again, no I'm just gonna sit here scared and let him pull me out. I was mad at Grisom for sending him by himself in the first place!
Answer:

OMG I was the same way my teenanger looked at me and said mom it is a show! I was like yeah but he is going to get hurt
Answer:

But did everyone realize the kid he ran over died in the end. Did you see the look on his brothers face. you know there is going to be some revenge on that the story line will not be ending.

I agree they are definitly taking some liberties with the characters but that usually starts happening when a show has been on this long. It looks like Nick is going to have major attitude this season - the maybe I don't want to be here.

I am also wondering if Greg is going to get the wrong idea about Sara wanting more. Because when she went to the scene she was like "I am here for you". We will have to see how the season pans out.

I try not to over analyze the shows I watch becasue then I no longer like them. Sit back enjoy.
Answer:

It comes on here on Thrusdays, so I saw it last week. I was SO upset about the whole Greg thing and agree there's going to be more to it I'm sure. The deal with Nick, I understand, he was upset about Greg and that "punk" was running his mouth. I did think Warrick was going to really give him he!!, but he did. I guess they all felt the same about Greg.
