Ask:
What did everyone think? I was kinda let down. I couldn't remember enough from last season to put everything together, I was totaly lost with the polar bear and Echo. Next week sound really good though.
Answer:
I love lost, but fell asleep half way through it!
I want to know more about the "others" and what theya re up to, esp. when that guy said he had lived on the island all his life, and then showed Jack the recent events, so they have electric signals ect.
I think it is all a huge Truman show movie thing, they are all in a bubble world, actors around them and observed to see how they act in this situation.
Answer:
I was really let down...I don't think they really covered much last night except that Locke saved Echo from the polar bear. They did a whole hour on that...what about Hurley?? He's been missing for all this time...knows that Jack, Sawyer and Kate have been captured...and nobody does anything about it? And what about Sun, Jin and Sayid? Doesn't anyone realize they were still missing?
Personally I think they wasted an hour on nothing...we knew about the polar bears already...I didn't learn anything new!
Answer:
We know about the polar bears already? I must have missed something. When did the polar bears come up before?

Both in Season 1 and Season 2...in Season 1, Walt was chased by them and Locke and Michael saved him by getting him somewhere safe.
In Season 2...not really sure of the episodes, but they were brought up several times, especially in the end with Echo...and they were also seen for the 1st time in season 2

Well, what about desmond and his precognition about Loch's speech? Maybe the three of them (Desmond, Loch, and Echo) are united by being in the hatch when it exploded.
But then again wasn't charlie in there - or did he run away in time, I forget?
I hope Desmond is a bigger part of the show than last season, I like him a lot.
Answer:
I was confused because they seemed to have started the show a day or two after the explosion. Did nobody think to look for Ecko or were they assuming him dead?
Charlie was funny last night, but it was not the usual Charlie. Now, if Locke came up to me with a knife after acting all weird in that "tent" thing smoking who knows what, do you think you would go with him into the jungle??? I would have been running the other way.
It was good to see Boone. He looked good.

Yup. I definitely missed something! We didn't watch season 1, and while I thought we saw all of season 2, we must have missed an episode or two. Is season 2 out on dvd? It might be nice to rent.
Answer:
I was lost too by the whole polar bear thing. It made absolutely no sense to me because I thought Ecko had been trapped by the hatch explosion in the last season, so how in the world did a polar bear get ahold of him and drag him all the way to...wherever he was?!
I agree that last night's episode was rather disappointing. Although, Locke's flashback was interesting. I knew there was something up with the hitch hiker, didn't think he was a cop though.

I must have missed some episodes. I recognized the guy in the tye dye shirt, but who is he? Is he one of the "others" ?
