Ask:
Hello Ladies,
I just thought I would share the titles of a few books I've read that have really helped me with ideas on how to save.
"How To Save Money Every Day" & "Shop, Save, & Share" both of these are by Ellie Kay. She is mom of seven children and a military wife and throughout these books she shares tons of ideas on how to stretch your budget, lower your grocery bills, and share your savings with others. Very easy reads, and they're rather entertaining too because she adds personal antecdotes.
"Tiptionary" by Mary Hunt is also a good book to have on hand just to reference now and then. It has tons of tips on saving money, prolonging the life of your clothing and furniture, as well as many other things. Mary Hunt also has her own website and a monthly newsletter to help people get out of debt and live within their means.
If you're interested in any of these books you could probably find them on Half.com so you don't have to pay full price. I bought my Ellie Kay books at Ollies Bargain Outlet, but I don't know if those are a national chain or not.
Anyone have any good savings book suggestions for me?
Answer:
The book post is a great idea, I haven't seen the one book you mentioned, I'll have to check it out! I really like the Mary Hunt books too, also Dave Ramsey's books are awesome.
