Ask:
When I was there yesterday they had value sized 30 oz cans of Isomil for $22 and Similac advanced (I think--it's in the blue can) for $20. That's about the best price I've found at least. They said these prices were a promotion and won't last.
**And perhaps some of you seasoned mommies already knew this, but at Babies
R Us (mine anyway), they allow you stack your
formula "checks" as long as it doesn't exceed the purchase price. So
if you're buying a $20+ can of formula, you can use two $10 or four $5 "checks" that they send you in the mail, for example. You can ALSO use a
manufactures coupon!!! And say you forgot your manf. cpn, you can go
back w/in a month with your receipt and they'll give you credit! (That
does NOT apply to those "checks".) I just found this out the other
day. Wish I had known sooner!

Thanks for the tip. My SIL works there, but since I am not due til Nov. 20th we haven't discussed it. This baby is going straight to soy formula too.

Congrats on the upcoming little one, coffeegirl. A friend also told me that she's had good luck w/ the Walmart brand soy formula. I think she said it was $11 for a 25 oz can. We do one formula bottle a day--right before bed so we don't go through to much of it. I've also heard that when you sign up on formula websites for coupons that it's advantageous to say you're going to use the competitors brand. I know I said I was planning on breast feeding and I get really crappy coupons. Oh well. At least we don't use too much.

So that's why I didn't get good coupons the 2nd time around!!!!
Answer:
If you are a member of Costco they sell both Simalac (regular and soy) Advanced in 3 lb cans for less than $28. It was a great deal!!! They will take the checks sent to you from the manufacture but not regular coupons. Costco also sold Enfamil for around the same price.
HTH
Answer:
Our local grocery store is like that. You can use as many of the checks as you want as long as it doesn't exceed the price and you can use coupons.
It may just be our BRU, but they seem to be a little higher than other places, but I love going there. I usually get the big box of diapers from there too. One box will last us a month. Last week they had those buy 2 get $10 off.
