Baby acne?

Ask:
ok so my newborn has baby acne any suggestions on anything else i can do for it. i have just been wiping her face with water and patting dry several times a day to keep the oil off. neither of my boys had it so this is new to me. How long will this last?
Answer:

You're doing the right thing. Just don't try to pinch/pick at it. I don't know how long it lasts. You can probably go to the American Pediatric website for more info.
Answer:

Are you nursing? Sometimes your hormones will pass on to her..and make it worse. There is nothing you can really do but live through it. She WILL outgrow it!
Answer:

It is her way of getting rid of the toxins in her body. I think my DS outgrew it by 4 months, definitely by 6 months - when I look at his pictures. Do not pick at them or use any thing other than gentle soap and water plus baby lotion. It is very normal. My first DS did not have it, so I had to ask the doctor too. It is more of a bother to us, but it doesn't hurt the baby.
Answer:

I ignored my DS's. I just kept him clean (but I wasn't constantly wiping it or anything)...

It's normal... I would suggest not doing anything about it.
Answer:

DD #1 had it, DD #2 didn't. Different hormones, I guess, but I completely ignored it and it passed pretty quickly. Definitely don't pick at it.
Answer:

Just leave it alone. It will go away on its own as the hormones level off. Being a baby is tough stuff!
