Ask:
Do you save useful tips you read? How do you remember them? There have been a few here that I have thought "OH Great idea" but then 10 minutes later, poof, the thought is gone from my memory. A friend of mine, writes down tips as she comes across them (or prints them up) and then puts them in a notebook....good idea, if the notebook was organized, it is literally overflowing with tips, aricles, crafts, ideas, and future projects.
What do you do when you come across a useful tip?
Answer:
I have a sprial notebook- the kind with dividers that i have labled with Laundry tips, cleaning tips, cooking tips, gardening tips etc... sometimes i cut the article out and with a glue stick glue it on the page- other times i just write it in. If i don't than i will forget the tip with my memory!
Answer:
I like the idea of a divided notebook with categories - i think I will have to start one!
Thanks for the hint!
Answer:
I usually print them out and stick them in a folder. One of the things I want to do is organize all this stuff in a 3 ring binder and then next year give copies of the binder as gifts. Last year I took a bunch of recipes and and trieds them out on my family and then the ones we liked a made a cookbook for my sister.
Answer:
Unfortunately I am one who just comes on here and asks the question again....prob. each time I need the tip.
I, too, like the idea of the notebook. I would have to buy all the supplies before I started making it though or it would end up just like your friends.....stuff all over.
Answer:
I really like the idea of a divided notebook...like Kelly, I would need to go out and buy everything first, get it set up, and then start adding...Like I said, I've seen my friends notebook...It's stacked so full, stuff spills out and I have no idea how she finds what she's looking for!!!
