Ask:
I was just curious. The little boy I keep just switched to it from Enfamil. He is ten months old..and I was suprised to see her change him this late in the game!! It is much "stickier" in the can than Enfamil was. I just wondered who else uses it!
Answer:
I used after I stopped nursing. My dd was around 10 -11 months old. It is half the cost that is prob why she switched and it is just abuot the same ans enfamil if you were to compair the cans. I liked it better than enfamil it was less bubby/foamy after mixing. as for sticky in the can I think it is because it is a finner powder than enfamil. But if it was open when you got the can maybe she left it out on the counter with the top off and it got mositure in it. I have done that just once and it ruined the whole can to sticky.
Answer:
Do I wish I could switch! I am paying out the wazoo because my little one has a terrible tummy. Similac won't even send me coupons which is quite irritating! I switched Lexi to it when I started feeding her more, probably around 6 months.
My Dr switched her kids to it so I know it's just as good!

I've been having problems w/ Similac not sending me coupons as well. I tried calling them and they said they'd send me coupons. Got them the other day--all for $1. So helpful. I've heard that when you sign up, it's best if you say you're using a compeitors brand and that you're going to use formula exclusively. I was honest when I signed up--planned to nurse and supplement w/ formula and I got a couple of $5 checks but that was it.
Anyway, I'm thinking about switching to walmart brand--is that Parent's Choice?--when DS finishes the Isomil cans I bought w/ the last of my checks. One of my friends said she's been using it and hasn't had any problems or complaints.
Answer:
I had no problems with it - the reason I can't switch is because Aubrey has to have low iron and there are no off brands of it. I can't even find the Similac one around me - I either get it off of ebay or have to travel an hr to Target!
Answer:
I tried it once, Aidan hated it. So, back I went to Good Start Supreme. I was SOOO happy that he switched to milk with NO problems! No more having to make sure I have formula when we're out of the house.
Answer:
I used it. I was skeptical but if you compare the nutritional value of it against the bigger (more expensive) name brands you will see that it ranks just as high. I used it for both of my kids when they weaned off the breast! (and to this day they seem very normal ~ whatever that means!!!)
Answer:
I switched my kids around all the time. Whatever was cheapest or I had a coupon for. The only thing they never could tolerate well was the Carnation Good Start.
Answer:
I switched Connor to it right after the sample bottles from the hospital ran out. He did great with it. I also switched between Parent's Choice, Enfamil and Similac. Whatever samples I got in the mail and checks I received I used and he had no problems. While I was pregnant with him I asked the nurse what store brands of formula I could use and she said the Peds only really liked the Parent's Choice besides the Enfamil and Similac. I'm sure each Dr is different in what they believe in using but my ds had no problems with it.
Answer:
I use the Sams club brand which I'm sure is probably the same thing as the Walmart one. My doctor let me switch Simon at four months old to store brand. Honestly, it is so much cheaper which is great, plus he rarely ever spit it up or had gas once we put him on it.
